To the Editor of the Morning Post
Sir, in your “Sporting Comments” this morning, an inference is drawn from the withdrawal of the motion to prohibit women racing on bicycles that the members of the Council of the National Cyclists’ Unions are in favour of “such an unsightly proceeding.” May I point out that the motion was only withdrawn because it was reached after the time for taking fresh business and will be brought forward again in December. – Yours, &c,
E B Turner,
Chairman General Committee, N.C.U.
